Our story
Why Lexan exists
Lexan Solutions was founded by Paul Jaggard after more than 25 years working within FMCG businesses.
Throughout his career, Paul saw the same pattern repeatedly: strong brands would create demand and win commercial opportunities, but their operations would struggle to keep pace.
Smaller businesses rarely needed a large corporate consultancy. They needed someone experienced who could understand the problem, speak to the suppliers, challenge the costs, build the process and remain involved until the solution was working.
That principle became Lexan Solutions.
The company's name combines the names of Paul's sons, Alex and Ethan. Alex has since joined Lexan as its first full-time team member, making the next stage of the business a genuinely family-built operation.
Lexan is now building a modern operations consultancy that combines decades of practical experience with better systems, structured supplier intelligence, automation and AI.

Paul Jaggard
Founder & Managing Director
Paul has more than 25 years of hands-on experience across FMCG operations, supply chain, manufacturing, retail and ecommerce. He founded Lexan to give ambitious founders access to experienced operational leadership without requiring them to employ a full-time Operations Director too early. Paul works directly alongside clients — in the detail, not just in the boardroom.
Alex Jaggard
Operations Support
Alex is Lexan's first full-time team member, supporting supplier research, operational projects, data management and client delivery. He represents the next generation of Lexan, developing his experience alongside Paul as the business grows.
